SPRINGFIELD – Investors this week bought four long-blighted row homes on Maple Street with plans to rehab the 12 apartments inside.

The city is going to start looking for a buyer for the other two 151-year-old row homes on the six-home block. These once-elegant homes now sport boarded-up windows and red-and-white signs warning firefighters not to enter due to structural damage.
